On hearing my own voice.....I HATE my voice, VERY nasal and Midwestern. Sounds like I have a clothespin on my nose. But at least that's not as bad as my laugh, I scare people and make dogs run. I'm told it sounds demonic, maniacal or evil. Personally, I think it sounds exactly like Frank Gorshin's "Riddler" characters laugh on the 1960's Batman series.

...Yes, I really sound like that. I try not to, I try to suppress it but it only makes it worse......Gods just fucking cruel.

I have always had difficulties pronouncing r, and even though I hear it fine in my head, when I hear a recording of my voice it still sounds a little Bostony. Never been called ma'am before.

Next time someone questions anything I say or do I will respond with this. "No. For your beliefs are merely clouded by my own beliefs."

He's on a roll today (I think he's pretty baked right now).

"IF bullets and guns or even ppls own consions had minds of there own would they then still allow u to pull that trigger is that really the true gangster theory these artists are trying to show you no its there own experiences that this individual is sharing with his fans that choose to follow them but instead a bunch of spoild kids that do get to enjoy all the materialistic brain sucking life there is think that this is the true WORD fashion and desighn for our offspring to grow into ? half the ppl i seen in my life time including me who were punished in school being discriminated for it being told everyday ur a failure with ur grades to society why should of tolorated this ? instead ill just go with my destinational track line so im within a paralell universe to balance my own needs and wants how about hahah ..."

If it is the schools fault that he is like that then you are a miracle. Because honestly, you're pretty much the only normal person on here.

Ha, when I met up with jstush/Dr. Taco he said "so, you're the normal one".

But, I'd say that I'm fairly normal among the people I graduated with as well. Well actually, there are two broad categories: myself and my friends are in the group that have actually read a newspaper in our lives; this kid is in the other group, where lives revolve around parties, video games, and caring for the odd accidental child.

Not many students thought that high school really meant anything in the long run, but those of us in the first group were the ones that decided that, since we were there anyway, we might as well give a damn. Looking back now, I actually did learn a lot more from those years than I had realized at the time.

The first Google result I got was Not Safe for Breakfast. See, you're so normal that you even confuse/invent internet slang.

Yeah, I just invented it by taking the NSFW and, since rockyi said his brain caved, substituted 'work' with 'brain'.

Spelled crayons, but pronounced kranz. I didn't realize that I pronounced it incorrectly until I was an adult and informed by a New Yorker making fun of my home region.

until i have a recording up i'll do this. words that stood out for me as sounding different than how i'd say them:
realize (i think you say relise, i say real-ize)
accents (i don't draw the *cc* s-sound out that long)
water (hard to describe this one, i say wAHter not wUHter)
crayons (i do two syllables cray-ons)
grocery store (my c has a *sh* sound)
library (i put more emphasis on the *a*)

but i agree with your on "detroit" *da*troit!

it's really true, i'd have to agree you're the least crazy person on the forum.

whatever happened to jstush? i don't think i see dr. taco posting often, or maybe i do and don't make the connection with his old name. i miss the fusey vs. jstush dynamic.

You do speak good C.B. And I say that as a one-syllable word.

Moving to Indy from Chicago I was always accused of speaking too fast. On the other hand residents here had a bit of a drawl.

When I was going to school at the University of Nebraska @ Omaha I took an Urban Geography class. The professor (Dr. Gildersleeve, R.I.P.) could go around the lecture hall and identify what part of the US a student was from by how they talked. He was good. Of course he had me pegged instantly.
