TK: And also, I think this kind of project on this scale, this boldness would appeal to Trump. He told me once that he’s not just competent, he’s really, really competent. That was Trump in his typically modest.

I do think Trump could pull this off. I also heard rumors of Trump wanting to help finance (with a really low interest rate) the remaining two buildings at Ground Zero. That he wants that hopefully finally finished and done by the end of his second term.

I’m a little busy, but let me say this: I don’t know why people keep digging up this nonsense. It’s not going to happen. It’s NEVER going to happen. The redevelopment of Penn is in the hands of the FEDS now, with an eye on cutting the costs. The air rights of MSG aren’t going to vanish, the city still decides what gets built there (Penn is underground). It’s beyond weird at this point that people don’t know better.

Getting rid of the vile eyesore, MSG/Penn, and replacing it with this is in everyone’s interest.

P.S.: I noticed for the first time that the Roman-style structures are planned as ancillary entrances to Penn on all four corners of the proposed park.

This isn’t about politics. It’s unmistakable that subsequent to the federal takeover of this project, everything is in Trump’s hands. He can either deliver a grandiose project like this, or he can deliver a budget-conscious disaster like our incompetent governor, the Erie County Clerk, had proposed. It remains to be seen how the chips will fall, but the President clearly has his hand in this project.

Let’s hope that our magnificent metropolis gets what it deserves.

Just because you’re economically disadvantaged and lack a proper education doesn’t give you the right to be angry. You can escape Generational poverty. Just don’t be belligerent and don’t think that you’re entitled to handouts from the government.
