Destination Gatineau
Destination Gatineau is a 135 000 000$ urban park destined to attract tourists. Destination Gatineau involves the development of the banks of the Ottawa River over a distance of
six kilometers from the Chaudière Bridge to Lady Aberdeen Bridge. The project involves the creation of gardens, hiking and cycling trails and the development of a Festivals place
in Jacques-Cartier Park. Gatineau Mayor also hopes the move of the Museum of Science and Technology.

De la cité sector is already a striving neiborhood that has it all: movie theatre, major public transportation hub, clinic, college(CÉGEP), sport centre, public library, show theatre,
city square, all this on a single street section less than half a kilometer. The city is planning on enhancing the neighborhood even more with 1500 new condo units with a height limit
raised to 18 story.
Pubs, restaurants, specialty shops, boutiques and large European style exterior terraces install along this commercial pedestrian street establish on the ground floor of the condos.

Great addition to downtown, it adds a color to the monochromatic pallet of the neighborhood with the huge Terrasse de la Chaudière complex being all red. Also, the rebirth of block scott (commercial vocation on ground floor), which burned down in the 90's.

Probably the city's best looking skyscraper, it softess downtown's architecture with all those 70's brutalism skyscrapers.

Major renovation at Promenade shopping centre
Les Promenades, second biggest shopping centre in metro Ottawa, is getting an 80 000 000$ makeover including floors, cellings, exterior facade, lightings, public furnitures
and a new food court. The shopping centre will also take the oppertunity to add two major tenants: possibly Simmons and a grocery store.
