Anybody know how the ESA turned out on this property? Both 270 and 250 were ex-service stations and multiple offers to purchase on both had fallen through. Last I heard 270 was contemplating a lease. The oil company's agreements are air-tight. The owners of that building are liable for the effects of their environmental impacts for the remainder of their ownership tenure and they usually don't show their remediation reports until after the deal's been signed.

The former Esso station, lot's 22-25 or 250 Marion at Traverse, went through remediation some time ago.

No clue about 270 across the street as we're discussing 250 Marion.

Note: The consultant is developing a business plan and site plan. Owner is seeking tenants. Detailed design is underway. This project is included with the precinct plan that is being followed under report number 9154863. The plan was forwarded to city council for approval winter 2013. Based on comment from council the plan is being rewritten and will be resubmitted. The owner expects to resubmit the precinct plan to community council late spring, 2014 and city council summer, 2014. Further schedules for working drawings, tender for general contractor and construction are undetermined pending city council approval of the precinct plan summer 2014.
Project: construction of a 250-300,000 square-foot addition onto the existing exhibition centre to accommodate further space for trade shows and conventions. The addition will provide space in the building for construction of a 500-seat theatre.

Good news, River Ave, 522, has been an empty lot for far to long. Possibly a low rise, 4 floor Condo project? I'm not sure but I heard something some time back. It might of been something to do with zoning or such. Can't remember. Good news if it's finally going to be filled.

Sandhu rental project from my understanding. It's an old bag factory that was still operational until last year. Graham Rowswell was selling it and the caveat at the time was you had to find the existing commercial tenant a smaller yet sufficient facility to continue making their bags. In any case, that may have been lifted, but it's Sandhu's now...
