Rome and paris both have that style of patio. Last Wed and Thurs I saw people sitting in the patio section at lunch. Plus walking by you feel the heat radiating from it.
Many many places do. Berlin is a winter city - and the heaters keep people warm while the plastic cuts the wind. I love sitting outside drinking beer and eating schnitzel outside the train station at Hackescher Markt in the fall and winter. Lost os sidewalk cafes around all protected from the wind and chock full of people enjoying themselves.

Had lunch at the new Sherlocks University today. They opened yesterday and were packed all day and night according to the barkeep. No surprise. I had a lunch special chicken burger with salad ($15) and a pint of Canadian. Chicken burger was very good. Not cheap but that is Sherlocks.
Can someone remind me where Dallas Pizza is again....I am need of an amazing pizza. How does is compare crust wise (thin, medium, thick?)

In other news....Went to Cactus Club on Jasper tonight.
Break Down:
The meatballs in tomato sauce...disgusting. They were frozen and recooked.
kinda tasted like Dog food!!!
The tortellini with shrimp was excellent. Only 3 tho!
Calamari was ok.
Service was really good.
However....when the guys in the covered hoods entered it was questionable! They were wearing full on hoods and sun glasses...wtf lol...it was the goofiest shit ever.
The manager was an old friend.....he said Cactus club has no dress code...So Dam Edmonton!!! Very disappointing!
