I hope none of you are bored

Aren't we all suppose to be OBSESSED with skyscrapers... no matter what!

If you are bored Sacamano, be sure to check out UT... Get an account... It'll shut ya right up! (I meant that in a non-offensive way )

UT's threads are JAM PACKED!... And you got plenty of people to pick on

You'll like it Sacamano... That's my promise

*And Sacamano, if I recall, do you do photo updates and stuff?... Cause I haven't seen any updates from you before ... I'm just wondering cause i don't know you all so well

SKYSCRAPERS FTW!!!!!!!

Again. .. didn't mean to offend. Just thought it might be interesting to see a wider prespective of development in Toronto. (of course not in this thread)

No I don't do photo updates. It's not my thing which is the reason I asked in the first place. I do help to keep the SSP database updated and lately, I've spent more time on it than I probably should. I've also been a member of UT since you were in Kindergarten.

Oh!... I didn't know that!... I don't think i've seen you on UT since i've joined... I guess you're not as active on that site (like me!)

Is your UT name also Sacamano? most people use the same one for both sites (Caltrane74, Traynor, steveve, etc...)

No offense taken!...

*And there is NO LIMIT on how long you can spend on this site!!!!.... AS MANY AS POSSIBLE TO KEEP US POSTED !

It's ok to ask

UT is short form for Urban Toronto... It's another website for skyscraper/urban enthusiasts but it's dedicated for ONLY toronto!

There are WAAAAAY more Toronto members there and there is a thread for almost every project in Toronto.

The layout/concept is almost exactly the same to this website...

Check it out:

Ya, I've definitely been seeing it popping up here and there. Couldn't for the life of me figure out what it was!
Thanks

Let's not forget SkyscraperCity's Toronto forum, which you might often see being referred to as SSC:

http://www.skyscrapercity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=951

It's not as active as UT or SSP but has some good posters, many of whom you might recognize. Also, the larger world forum at SCC is an amazing place to find threads on projects around the world. Its 'supertall' section is highly trafficked.

I'm kinda pissed and kinda thankful you reminded me of SSC...

I just realized how busy those threads are!!!.. i thought they were dead!

Sammo has an account there!!!... but no UT yet

I'm kinda pissed cause now i feel obliged to get an account there so i can post!!!... just another burden right?... lol... not literally pissed at you

*I've noticed that most Torontonians go to SSC or UT... Why so few on Skyscraperpage?... Isn't this site better in more ways?! (even though there are fewer threads, if we had more members there would be hundreds of Toronto threads... hmm... that's RACISM!)... lol

I don't see why not. Alot of members have or had accounts here. There isn't alot of reason to quote SSP there considering little information ends up here first.

UrbanToronto came to be because of the bickering on SSP and other forums. Americans, Australians and Torontonians just don't mix well.

Maybe the same could be said for Montreal's equivalent? ("Rest of Canada and Montrealers just don't mix well." )

Anyway, caltrane74, project end's angle is really nice (1st shot).
If you know where that is, maybe you could take some pics from there... and that could also be a good area to capture the west side of Ritz-Carlton...
