I leaned today that Chase Bank was named after Salmon P. Chase, Lincoln’s masterful Treasury Secretary during most of the Civil War.

Yes the steel is a gray color instead of its previous ferrous appearance. Additionally, the tarp covering the exterior of the floor is a giveaway.

These pictures are great but they don't (can't) do it justice. This thing is a beast! I was in NY last October and last week working from NY office. I walked east down 47th to Park every day and MAN OH MAN is it massive. The scale!! It is going to be magnificent.

Yup. Photos can never do the real world justice. Just standing right in front of something this massive is insane.

I agree. Skyscrapers especially this one appear massive and very tall in person compared to photos.
