Not sure if it been said before but the sheer reflective nature of the glass on this building is simply amazing. Its almost like a "chameleon", blending into the surroundings or sky depending if its clear or overcast. Just have not seen another building display that effect so dramatically (as illustrated by several recent photographs). Just a very unexpected treat.

Definitely the best glass cladding in NY, and one of the best in the world.

Wow the Beekman really kind of looks out of place in the first pic. This building could've been a bit higher.

This glass is amazing and was my favorite but what takes the cake for new york now is international gem tower. Have you seen the glass lately on that beauty

I can't wait until this surpasses 1 Liberty in height. I would have loved to see the Singer Building being reflected in WTC#4

Yeah, the Gem Tower has superb cladding too. I guess I have too wait a little longer till I make a final judgement call, i.e. till more cladding goes up on that tower.

I love it. It's been overshadowed by the Freedom Tower (imagine if that weren't under construction) but now begins to enter the spotlight as it reaches for second tallest status Downtown (at least for a while).

^ And only 25 feet taller than the American International Building. It should've been a supertall so there was no dispute.

I agree. It's already very close to supertall status. Should of just went through.

What dispute?

As far as supertall status, it's only 8 ft short. That won't make a visable difference on the skyline.

I feel like I'm actually looking more at Liberty Plaza than Tower 4. I also love how the facade is angled just enough to make everything feel "ungridded".
