This little bench (?) just appeared on Smithe Street between Granville and Seymour. I wonder if there will be more showing up.

It seems the post office along Homer Street had a part recently in a movie.

^^^^^^^^^^ interesting ^^^^^^^^^^^^

Was that pile of concrete and stone rubble part of the film, or just something the city had to sweep out of the way for the production?

What do you think, trof?

It's probably Fear the Walking Dead or some other post-apocalyptic scene.

One of the reasons that the Old Post Office needs to remain is because of how often it is used in film production! Seriously, it seems like every week something is filming inside or outside that building.

The concrete and stone rubble is interesting. It's painted styrofoam.

BTW, I did see some zombies staggering through the neighbourhood this morning about 3:00 AM.

A couple of pics of Robson Square today. The main 4/20 thing was down at Sunset Beach but they had a small setup today by the art gallery. I guess to kind of meet and greet people arriving downtown for 4/20 and to redirect them to the new location. They also had a shuttle bus service set up. There were a fair number of police around. Sorry, no pics from Sunset Beach.

I cycled the Seawall today and the 4/20 on Sunset Beach seemed like a huge festival. Crazy that so many people have time for such on a Wednesday...

It's a pretty big and well-known gathering that has grown in # of attendees every year. Wouldn't surprise me if there was a solid amount of tourists as well as people who plan to have the day off in order to attend

mcminsen, thanks! And great photo set and downtown skyline! I was up on Grouse when I heard the horn of Disney's cruise ship sailing out of the harbour.

I take it that you like HDR photography? Nice stuff.

I have yet to visit Harbour Center viewing platform. Been living on such a high floor for so long, that never felt the urge to visit, but now that I am out in the suburbs, it might be nice to come down and Van from above.
