Yea that didn't work which makes me think it's from one of the longhorn pay sites.

Brian Davis from the statesman posted some new renderings. For now, construction continues on the south end zone. I don't think we'll have a football season this year.

State and UT projects are continuing. The Alexan crane is swinging around too.

Pretty cool. They are close to topping out on the SE suite tower and the finally got the SW corner up out of foundation.

Is it just me or do the beams that are just sitting on top of the east grandstands seem a tad precarious? I'm guessing there are structural supports directly under it.

It also looks like they are putting an all glass wall on the top floor of Montcrief which is pretty cool.

Ha. That's what I first thought. But it would be because it's for seating angled from the webcam POV.

Holy shit, lots more renderings here, many showing the inside: https://twitter.com/simplyCoachO/sta...12537180352512

I think it's interesting that they preserved Moncrief kinda.

Yea they basically preserved the Moncrief shell and gutted the inside. cdain3 at Surly got these shots off the webcam when the light was right so you can see. There has since been a layer of concrete go in right in front of the top floor so it's continuous from Moncrief to the new end zone.

Nice. I'm assuming it just made timing/budget sense to keep the shell of Moncrief. Also, it allows the value of his donation to be preserved.

I'm curious what the outside is going to look like. That's one angle we haven't seen in any renderings.

1974. This was two years after the western upper deck construction when they also built the 11-story Bellmont Hall into the upper deck.

The steel structure that the new scoreboard will mount to is starting to go up. It'll also serve as a connection between the two towers.

Will the videoboard be ready for this season (assuming there is one)?

Has U.T. given any guidance on that yet?
