I'd go so far as to say that it looks great. I like the unapologetically contemporary design... it's not something you often see in sports venues, or at least not since the 70s.
I also note that the location is still quite central (though not downtown) and surrounded by large swaths of open space ready for redevelopment along the lines of Lansdowne Park in case a market for commercial and residential space close to the arena emerges.
I'd say the Quebec rink is top notch. At least 9/10 in my books.
