And here I thought the Montreal one looked amazing.....

Oh definitely. In a few years once those towers are completed Toronto is going to have an even more impressive skyline.
Fantastic shot by the way haljackey.

Great Montreal shots!

One beautiful tower behing the Parlement would do wonders for the skyline...

You see, a skyline doesn't need a sea of office and condo towers to be impressive and majestic. The simple arrangement of the towers on the hill and the select group of buildings make this one of the best skylines in North America.

Definitely looks better at night, though (especially the office buildings).

With the hill it looks like a supersized Mont Saint-Michel.

...Also soooo in need of a TRAYNOR rendering!!!
This city wears out any would be renderers!! You think you can keep up??? LOL

But this pic is GREAT!!
Aura will be the biggest impact, followed by 1 Bloor..... U 5 and Chaz Casa 2 will also be big! But the one that no one talks about in terms of skyline impact is RCMI!! Just under 500 feet it will soar past Zurich building, and create a fantastic gap filler between Aura, and BAW!!! Until Massey and INDX comes along... But RCMI is in a great place to be seen from the west!!!!

Ten YORk will also be HUGE... L will be a big gap filler...

Right, I totally forgot about the RCMI tower. Though it won't be as tall as some of the larger projects on Bay or Yonge, it's being built a little further west, on University Ave., so it will appear pretty tall from that angle. It should form its own peak between Aura and the CBD.

I can't wait for the day when the entire skyline looking east, from the Lake Ontario to Yorkville, has the same general height as the towers in the CBD. It will look like a Midtown Manhattan-esque wall of skyscrapers.

Aura is the large construction project that can be seen about 1/3 in from the left. The interior lighting is quite apparent.

This might seem like an odd question, but what's with the 1 single windmill on Toronto's waterfront? Usually you see a farm, or none, is it powering a specific building?

^^ It's a wind turbine donated to the city by environmentalists.

That's actually Sick Kids. Aura is not yet visible in that photo, but would be slightly to the left of that.

Coquitlam has a wicked skyline for a city of only less than 130 000
