Has anyone here tried KG BBQ? I had it during Thanksgiving week and it was probably the best BBQ I've had here!

Walked by The Statesman on W 6th. Looks like it will be nicer than the other places around there.

Does anyone know what Twin Flame at 507 West Ave will be like? And when the old Stereotype will reopen? They've been working on that one for a long time. Whoever is taking it over is making it much nicer.

KPot FINALLY opened up in South Austin. Another KBBQ/Hot Pot spot that's very much needed in Austin, especially South

They were first announced to open up in Spring 2022 with an opening date late 2022... now 1.5 year later it's open haha

Northshore at 2nd and San Antonio. It used to be a French restaurant. I didn't know it closed.

Le Politique closed for COVID in March 2020 and never reopened. Really excited for this place to open. Such a prime location that's been sitting vacant for years now.

The sign on the window says a wine bar. I'm trying to remember exactly what it says but something like "social bites and wine bar."

Looks like there's been some change of plans over the course. It was slotted to be a high end steakhouse called "Stripsteak".

Downtown is already over saturated with steak houses. Glad to see that it will be something else.

The following was listed on a job listing for GM:

"The Guest House in downtown Austin is your soon-to-open destination where nature and modern design harmonize to create a social dining wine garden. Offering lunch, dinner, brunch, happy hour, and takeaway options. The menu will feature a wide range of options following the New American Steakhouse culinary style. Here, community comes together through flavors, ambiance, and an integration of senses to craft unforgettable moments.

The project is backed by local hospitality finance group, inKind. With sharing a meal as one of their core values, inKind is keen to bring a concept that they can work with closely, incubating new technologies, integrations and operational standards."
