Can someone remind me what is being developed at the old Keddys site on Shediac Rd by the TCH?

Birch Meadows, phase 2, well underway next to War Veterans Highway in Moncton East.

Infinity Aerials photo

This is another project by John Lafford. There is no other developer active in greater Moncton than John Lafford able to organize and construct large scale projects as efficiently as he can.

It'd be nice if the current developer at Main & Vaughan Harvey would sell the land to Mr. Lafford. It would be better to wait and build something respectable than to put a 6 floor building at that location. Not much of an impact for an entrance into downtown Moncton.

At least there's a potential 10-storey on the southwest corner opposite the cute little 6-storey..
Unless we start growing tomatoes in the middle of the intersection...

That’s right behind their current location. This will be a really addition to the area.

This will definitely be welcomed. Their current lot, albeit small, isn't that bad to navigate around but their retail shop was definitely too small.
Now I wonder if East Coast International and Universal Trucks will upsize their locations?

We noticed today that the unit on the right hand side of the new strip on Granite (Subway, Harvest, Blaze) has for lease papers in the window. Nothing professional like Colliers, just looks like whoever rented changed their mind or looking to subdivide maybe?

No idea, anyone have input on if either planned tenants has backed out?

I noticed this today too. This is the unit that Blaze Pizza was to move into. I had the same concern as you. Have they backed out?

Not sure if this is right sub forum or not but there’s a new A and W near the shopping area with the Sobeys/Lawtons/Dollarama along Elmwood to the south of the TCH junction.

That’s a big deal for them. They currently only have dealerships. This is the outright purchase of a whole brand.

this is an acquisition of a small dealership network (4 dealerships; Moncton, Dartmouth, Charlottetown, Millbrook.)

for context and/or comparison, International Trucks has "nearly 1000 dealer outlets in the US, Canada, Brazil, and Mexico."

Ohh okay just the eastern Canadian dealerships. That makes much more sense haha.

It's just the corporate name for the franchisee of A&W Elmwood Drive.
