Teemu Selanne passed the 40 pts mark for the 17th time in his career. Truly remarkable. 30th player in NHL history to have that many 40+ pts seasons.

Henrik Sedin is the first player to crack the 50 pts mark.

Saku Koivu recorded his second career hat trick. His first one was on November 18, 2002 so it's been 10 years. Congrats to him.
God I miss him... Koivu>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Gomez

Both teams got a Gordie Howe hat trick too, something else you don't see very often.
Definitely a strange one last night. The Devils took over after the first and never looked back, thankfully Kipper stood on his head.

15 biggest crybabies in the NHL. Yes, this is almost troll-worthy. But it comes from an actual media source, so it's ok, right?

Yeah, Calgary didn't really deserve that win.

Wow, that's a shocking list.

Interesting article about Malcolm Subban. Didn't even know he existed, but he's ranked as the #1 NA Goalie in the draft this year.

The captain probably done for the season... Just give the C to Gorges.

He was the leading goal scorer last 2 seasons with 28 and 29 goals.
He was also the only guy that played all 82 games last season.

this guy is from boston so of course 4 canucks make the list. and he has 1 guy on his list who's not in the nhl anymore. he's hardly an expert on hockey.

So, you have a problem with the accuracy of the list ?

Ironically it was posted a month ago and people like Vigneault managed to solidify their position since then.

If it was posted this week there may be a few more names on it, out of spite!

He acknowledges that though. I can't say I disagree with his choices. That said, the list could easily be expanded, especially as far as coaches go; Vignault is definitely a whiner, but he's one of many behind the benches (Torts immediately comes to mind). Gillis could have been on there as well, along with Burke and half the GMs in the league. Fans could be on the list as well, led by the Habs'.

Ha, don't worry Cole and Pacioretty have scored about 30% of all our goals so as long as they are healthy we should be able to score a goal or 2.

Oh, and Gomez is the biggest POS I've ever seen. He will probably never score a goal in the NHL again.

PHANEUF VOTED MOST OVERRATED PLAYER IN NHL PLAYER POLL
http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=384805

Jesus, Scott Gomez can't even be first place in anything these days! Somehow Komisarek is also on the list, meaning someone even remembers him.

Jarome Iginla's stock must be falling quite a bit since he's 12th!

Quote:
Alex Ovechkin (second), Scott Gomez (third), Roberto Luongo (fourth) and Dany Heatley (fifth). Ilya Kovalchuk (sixth), Vincent Lecavalier (seventh), Jay Bouwmeester (eighth), Ryan Kesler (ninth) and Komisarek. In addition to Bouwmeester, the Calgary Flames also had Jarome Iginla and Olli Jokinen on the list at 12th and 14th, respectively.
It's actually hard to complain about most of that list, though some people deserve to be up a bit higher just based on salary. Like Bouwmeester!

Luongo is #1 in my books - being overpaid that is. Not sure how Kesler made the top 10 though.

Bourque deserves a spot on that list over the 3 Flames that are actually on it. Olli has consistently been the Flames' best forward this year, I think he's actually underrated.

Also - I think Bieksa is very overrated, he's lucky that hes had high quality defence partners to play with that make him look good, but he makes a lot of dumb plays.

Kesler overrated? You've got to be kidding me.

I'm sure even Canucks haters have to admit the guy brings more to the ice than almost any player out there.

That list was clearly written by someone who hates the Leafs, so I can dismiss it out of hand. After all, 29 teams aren't in Toronto.
