I have sat in the endzone seats numerous times. I find that it is a bit of a crapshoot because you may have all the scoring at your end or none or half and half. You also have a different perspective on how the plays are set up and developing.
Also the modern jumbotrons allow you to see the replays just as good as anyone.
So for that reason, I fully support the bowl idea and just like IGF in Winnipeg, it gives the perspective of a full big time stadium.

Agreed. Also I like the end zone seating for the fact that I can just sit there and not have to constantly move my head. Which is why in Hockey rinks I choose the ends of the rink to sit in. To each their own. But I would say we are getting a full 360 bowl.

Gawd, I sure hope that this is a bowl-shaped facility.

Executive Committee of Council met last night and according to the agenda went in to private session. I expect the stadium team advised them of the decision during that session. The Committee and Council had previously fully delegated decision making power to the team.

That is guaranteed by the RFP. They would have to start over if they allowed something else.

Mc Mahon Stadium in Calgary is NOT an at grade Stadium, You enter the Stadium at grade and then proceed down below grade for the first whatever number of seats. e.g. It is designed just like the Brandt Centre in Regina.

Yup, just as I stated. I'm told to imagine something kinda similar to a 33,500 seat version of Red Bull Arena Leipzig Germany.

Red Bull Stadium is very similar to the Patel concept except with a more realistic roof and a lot less polycarbonate. Plus the roof is not integrated with the structure.

^ And its budget was 90 million Euro, so I hope there'd be a bit more to it...
