...but, I'd be lying if I said that I don't miss the intimacy of Tiger Stadium. I like the old stadiums where the best view was that of the field.

Apart from that, my only other criticism of Comerica is that its below grade. Same with Ford Field. I realize it's cheaper to build them that way, but of the newer stadiums, I do tend to like those that make more an impact on the skyline or at least from street level.

Man the CFL is tight this year. 75% of the teams in the west (3/4) are tied for the division lead, at 8-6.

My boss's boss invited me to lunch, but there is only one problem. I no longer live in the metro area or state where my job is located and I haven't been in the city where my job is located in more than a year

That view in Detroit is killer big city. I've never been in the stadium.

Then he started to cry. Not sure if it was a happy cry or sad cry. He wouldn't tell us. However when I dropped him off at school this morning he announced to every person he passed that he was going to be a big brother. :-)

I wonder how that's gonna go.

That sounds like a hilarious premise, but will be horribly executed.

Speaking of hilarious premises with horrible executions, I've created a new blog because according to my therapist, I need a creative outlet...that doesn't involve bitching about how much I'm an asshole on a blog: http://judgingbookcovers.tumblr.com/

... like the three or four other websites I've seen with this premise, I'm just another jackass who thinks he can provide witty commentary on the bizarre book covers I've encountered in my line of work.

Looks like you're getting off to a great start

I was more overcome by how weak and puny he looks.

Also, the cactus appears to be growing through the station wagon.

At least I'll have something productive to do at work tomorrow.

A while back, I saw a very bizarre competition, that I think involved snorting milk in one nostril, and pushing it out the other into a bucket. It seemed to be a big deal (I think in Russia). I've been looking for it for about 30 minutes now, and all I'm finding is cocaine and strange porn. This 'sport' had a specific name. Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? I wanted to show it to a friend.

I'll ask in the check this out thread too, they seem to find weird things all the time.

Edit: bnk found it.
