I have never followed it through before, but now that I was observing it for a moment, the color seems to be changing every 10 minutes or. The transition is pretty fast.

Wtf? did you mean it's the actual building that's unimaginative or the pictures themselves??

If its the latter that's a really rude thing to say. Those are great pics!

Both photos mine. Sorry they're so blurry; I don't think I had the camera settings on correctly.

Thanks.

The lighting design really doesn;t do much to highlight the overall peak of the tower.

I saw a few raindrops on my camera lens, but that's about it. Quite disappointing.

Vancouver hotel ranked among the best in the world

Only one other Canadian establishment made the list for TripAdvisor’s best hotels of 2014

The luxurious Rosewood Hotel Georgia in downtown Vancouver has been named one of the world’s top hotels, according to the latest TripAdvisor survey.

The property is a cultural landmark, built in 1927 with much fanfare, later to book all the biggest names in entertainment, including Elvis and Frank Sinatra. It recently underwent a four-year, $120-million restoration to enhance its heritage character while adding that ‘wow’ factor.

It used to be my favorite Hotel, when they had live bands in the main floor bar, the place was a blast at night.
Seems like another lifetime now.

"Now complete" - what have they still been completing? And how is the residential tower a 2010 Winter Olympics icon?

I know (and I really loved that), but that was the hotel and not the residential tower that they are advertising here. I do realize that they share amenities, but I just find the "2010 icon" thing another far-fetched marketing attempt.
