"Inspire"- Not Inspiring Me

I'm certainly not a fan of that design - especially for a site with such a high profile view from the stadium.

This just looks like a hodge-podge of mixed materials. It appears to have elements from the existing Midtown GT tower, The Mark & The Standard rolled into one.

Furthermore, they should really reserve the name "Inspire" for something more worthy of the name.

Pretty certain Niles Bolton did all those other student towers you mentioned. They're just regurgitating the same hodge-podge.

The building always looked good. I think most people didn't want it to happen due to it being a Margaritaville, which is silly.

This will make a really nice Hampton Inn when Margarettaville resorts goes bust in 10 years.

Yeah, we need more people like Keane - the more people we have to challenge poor design, the better.

I get really jealous when I see so much innovative design taking place in Europe, Canada and Australia where developers seem to come to the table with inherently better designs, because they know poor design will be challenged in those places.

I'm sure developers love a "path of least resistance" that some Atlanta boards often provide.

Yea, water seeks it's own level. There has to be a point in which the consensus has to be about better design, or else Atlanta is going to be riddled with fucked up developments.

Ascent Peachtree will have a pretty strong presence from that vantage point in the picture above.
