Tickets likely out in September starting with the FIFA lottery. I suspect there will be millions in the draw for about 150000 tickets for Canada games so it's gonna be unlikely. Your best bet is to pay the Canada Red Gold membership to get priority access. That is how I got my tickets for the games in Qatar after being shut out in both rounds of the lottery.

My plan was to drive down to Boston, New York, or Philly to see a World Cup game or just go for the world cup atmosphere and watch the game at a sports bar

But not sure I'll want to go down to the states next year, with the way everything is between Canada and the USA, and how little faith I have in these issues between our countries being resolved by the start of the World Cup.

Toronto doesn't even have any games in the round of 16... just the new, round of 32. If I'm going to pony up that much to go see some World Cup football matches, I'd at least try and go to a quarter or semi final match... or really splurge and see the finals in New York.

I understand that the US was going to get the finals no matter what, but I think it's an absolute farce that the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City is not getting one of the semi finals or even the third place game. It's a stadium that's hosted two world cup finals already, and Mexico clearly has a better football ⚽️ culture than either Canada or the US has. Yet, Mexico City is not even getting a quarter finals match.

There are rumours of a November friendly vs Ecuador.

In other news, in Canada Soccer's own version of the Peter Principle, despite faltering play in the past two games, Canada has risen up the FIFA rankings to its highest placement ever. Canada (FIFA 28/ELO 32)

His loan side Villarreal may be back in the hunt as they have sold off players and have the cash. Inter only wants to sell Tajon and not loan, so let's see if Inter and Villarreal match up again, only this time a sale and not a loan.

Will games really leave the USA to be held in Canada?

BC premier was asked bout it in a press thing, and he said BC would gladly host more games or something like that.

Newmarket’s Ruben Silva-Richards has joined ADO Den Haag in the Dutch Eerste Divisie on loan from Estoril (Portugal) for the season.

The 21-year-old striker recorded 30 G/A in 62 games across multiple seasons for Estoril U23s.
