Looks like the rest of the retaining wall from the Iron Works overflow parking is being torn town by one of the excavators.

The third and tallest crane at 1,230' was just approved by the FAA too.

I thought it was three. But one of the building permits refers to level B4.

Is Willow Street going to be removed? They were also clearing 80 RR today. I guess they'll use that for staging? It'd be crazy if they were also prepping 80 RR.

Yes, Willow St will be gone soon. I don't think 80 Rainey will be starting soon. But River St Residences may have started. The ROW closures for construction were scheduled for last Monday.

Rainey’s a total shit show right now, trafficwise. I really hope the city’s going to start implementing whatever their plan is, because when the other two high rises get started (80 Rainey and River Street Residences) the whole system is going to grind to a halt.

It's definitely a shit show since after SXSW time frame. None of my friends really go over there anymore but will definitely check out the new Cantina 512 bar later today. But driving around the area is unbearable, especially on weekends

I went to Rainey last Thursday for the first time in maybe... 5 years? Personally, I liked its vibe. Maybe because it was Thursday so the place wasn't packed.

They need to close the street like they did pre-pandemic.

I would definitely LOVE a street closure.

My friends and I often went to Bungalow but since it closed there wasn't really a drive for us to go anymore. West 6th is usually the move for us

Official Notice to Proceed comes today! This comes from two trustworthy sources who are both excited to get moving in earnest. Let the five year countdown begin!

I wonder if we will be getting a few more details on this project soon then, like the actual floor count since there seems to be some discrepancy on whether it's 73 floors or 74 floors.

It's too bad the CCTV cam was repositioned. The few times I looked at it during the past couple days, the workers at the gate have been letting material deliveries large dump trucks in.

I made an excel spreadsheet with all of the cameras and highlighted the relevant cams (those with good downtown views or views of construction projects). What I’ve noticed is that the cameras will shift position every few days. The vantage point of this camera (#40) had been consistent up until a few days ago.

I checked 200+ CCTV cams, and this one had the best view of any major project. There is one that shows the Linden somewhat, and another one that will have a good view of Hanover's 4th St project.
