Oh no I had it, I took a few pictures mainly of Domain 8 and the West Campus Student Housing. It's just hard to take pictures while driving.

Forgot to report this, but soil testing was going on in the driveway of a home behind the Pointe on Rio. The house also has fencing surrounding it. No pics from me as I am out of town, but here's a look via street view.

This doesn't offer much info, but they're definitely planning something. The document says it's by Aspen Heights.

Kool, thanks for all the updates. The amount of construction going on in West Campus is amazing. I wouldn't doubt in several years that the population density in some areas will reach 20,000 ppsm.

A CVC determination was filed today for the site across the street from the Sheraton at 700 E 11th. It's currently the site of a one story building and a lot of parking.

Travis County already owns a decent backup location for a new courthouse on land adjacent to Highland Mall in an area well serviced by express highways and other transit options. I doubt seriously that they would decide to build in an area east of downtown instead of using this second option which has already been considered in the past. Zimmerman must have spiked Ora's kool aid or got her salivating at the prospect of more county jobs on the east side. Still, county commissioners are not going to like being second guessed by city council members. Zimmerman will make a few new enemies in high places with this proposal. I must say that Zimmerman is showing himself to be rather skilled at grabbing headlines, and he'll almost certainly try to take credit for any change in plans that may transpire in the months ahead. I think the courhouse ballot proposition is pretty much DOA.

Re: 219 West 4th! That is some basement excavation. What is going in here when it is finished? Another club with roofdeck? They are spending some big bucks on it.

This is pretty cool - turn the unfriendly One Congress Plaza into a walkable area.

I forget, does One Congress Plaza even have ramps into the plaza? Wouldn't it be required by law to have them? I know there's an entrance on the Brazos side, but those are through loading docks so there's even a few steps there as well. The plaza space is amazing and could be utilized much better. It's basically a park on Congress.

Has this already been posted? The developer for that 800 Congress hotel that got shot down is putting in a 2-story building with office and rooftop deck. If it's been posted, please direct me to it. Heck, I could have posted a link previously and wouldn't remember! haha

See this post from February 13, 2015. The first image is when they were tearing down Hickory Street Bar & Grill at 800 Congress. The second image is the rendering of what's planned.

The hotel would have been built on two adjacent lots - 800 Congress (Hickory Street Bar & Grill) and 804 Congress (The Bosche-Hogg Building)

Here's the thread for the hotel which would have been called The Austin Hotel.
