I'm not an engineer or architect, so I really have no knowledge of a project like 1010 other than interest in NO.

What will be the engineering difficulties of adding a rooftop swimming pool to a fifty-year-old building?

Not very difficult at all for an office building built like this. think of some of the other buildings that have had one added recentlly like the jUng Hotel on the 18th floor, the strand has one on its top that was added too.

The Plans show some sort of multi level speakeasy hidden behind the pool area too.
