There seems to be a lighting feature on the south east corner. I have not seen it before. It is changing colour from red, blue and greenish.

Are these units occupied yet? I just heard on the radio that former PM Kim Campbell is among those suing for her deposit back (~$370k), due to failure to meet promised Dec 2011 completion.

The saga of the The Georgia is becoming arcane, and cryptically weird. Will it ever be fully operational?

Wow that's brutal. Does anyone know what caused the delay? This is got ridiculous over a year ago. Now it's just preposterous.

It's one thing to delay completion (happens all the time), but to delay it seven times shows that the developer has no clue what they're doing.

This building is incredible. Months just go by and nobody is moving in. The residential floors are still completely empty as far as I can see from our apartment. Not sure what they are doing in there, as lights are turned on and off on random floors every few days.

The varied lights are probably just workers leaving lights on.
There look to be some occupied suites (i.e. furniture in suites other than the show suite floor).

The really bizarre thing is...that isn't the first building the Developer has done...they've built several large scale and successful projects in the the 20 years...

Must have been a cash flow issue.
They got teh hotel up and running and the office space occupied - that would have helped things along - is my guess.

I wouldn't fork out the money they are asking, especially for a unit right across the alley from the HSBC building. Looks like someone did though.
photos by me.

I hope it stays empty. That way, there wont be white blinds scattered all over the building like a plague.

As a local Realtor, I just received an invitation for one of many 'relaunches' .. not too many of us are excited about it.

52 of the 160 units have now taken possession (ie. keys have been given to the owners). Not sure how many of those would have physically moved in, but judging from the above pics, I would guess less than half?
