I had assumed (!) That the precast was expected to fade in the sun to eventually match the rest of the river, possibly I give the developers too much credit.

I like the tower but there's something very unbalanced about it when viewed at angles absent the skyline. On its own I have trouble finding its center of mass and feel like its almost tipping over in a way. Like in this shot:

i think you are noticing distortion in the image from a wide-angled lens or from photo correction/stitching software. Notice how some other buildings in that photo seem to have a similar lean. Also, take a look at the photo posted by SolarWind...you see a similar effect. The right edge of the building almost seems bowed in that photo.

In real life, these distortions don't exist.

Well I have noticed that a lot of bums use the river walk as their own private bathroom, so maybe this is just a preventative measure...

At any rate, it looks kind of not good.
