Looks heavy!

Wonder what each piece weights?

My opinion of this building has changed too. I honestly like it less than i did a few months ago. It’s just so yellow and completely lacking in creativity.

I agree. I still think the original design and renderings we were shown were decent. But now that some of the original detailing was value engineered out the tower is just tiring to look at.

That's because it isn't yellow at all. It's basically bright white

^I call it "stained teeth", and it's the same dumpy color as the first K Station tower.

Hi Tom, not sure what you think my intentions are, but I'm genuinely debating the color of the building and I think that's pretty constructive? I'm not the one name calling around here.

"Debating" by simply stating "mellow yellow." Sure thing.

If you read back over the last two pages you can indeed see that we're debating the color of the building. My 'mellow yellow' post is a response to that convo, not a personal attack on anyone here.

certain photos of this building do give it a slight yellowish tint, depending on vantage point and sun angle, but from what i've seen of it in person with my own eye (and from the majority of construction pics of it posted in this thread), i would not say that it comes across as anything close to "overly yellow" in real life.

You repeatedly posted the word, "turd" in previous (deleted) posts in this thread. . . I don't care what your intentions are, just notifying you that your comments are not constructive and will not be tolerated. . . that is all. . .

Yeah, it's notoriously hard to judge the actual color - of anything really - from photos alone. Sun angle and atmosphere play a huge part. But the color calibration of the monitor you're viewing the photo on, and the white balance setting of the camera/edited photos are equally, play a huge part.

Its certainly not as dark as the original renderings but I'm guessing the precast will change appearance over time from exposure.

I'd call it beige. This one looks better the further away you are IMO. I like the setbacks, but the facade is very flat.
