Anybody go to the private party tonight?

I didn't, but I did get an invitation. I drove by and they have a large model in the lobby of the sales office. I would guess there were also 75 to 100 people there. They had a tent set up in the parking lot next door.

I will try to get some pics of the model this weekend, if somebody doesn't beat me to it (Ken, SCJ?)

I received an invitation too, but I declined to go. I just didn't think One Lincoln Park was upscale enough for me. I think I'll just stick with the Four Seasons.

^ Oh. Well you snobby little wench! Perhaps, I should tell Linda Erickson at the Four Seasons that you are just not "upscale" enough for their development!? <--back at ya!

^ You just don't want to admit that they don't invite people from Thornton to one of these events with happy urban people doing happy urban things.

Guys,

I went to the party. Sorry I didn't take a photo of the model. The building looks almost see through with all the glass. The one gal told me design of the building is of asian influence. They said the ground breaking will be Nov/Dec 2005 and phase one (184 units) will be completed Jan 2008. The sales office is phase 4 & 5. They have 5 phases total, some brownstones, etc. If you guys want to stop by, they are hosting parties for brokers both Sat & Sun.

Sorry about the photo goof-up. I drank too much at the party and remembered after I left.

Five phases, as in five buildings? And where the sales office is now is where phases four and five would be constructed? Am I getting this right?

I know it will be 5 different phases. Not necessarily 5 buildings. One Lincoln Park is the first phase. And yes, the current sales office is Phase 4 & 5.

MMMKAY....i think this is the additional phasing that lydia refererred to a while back. i spent some time in there sales center today (VERY nice operation they are running).

Here is some information:
- 31 stories, 12 feet per floor = 372 feet
- the building is 51% reserved already
- groundbreaking will be in November
- completion in january 2008
- developer already has the land for the phases 2- 5, to be done over the next 5 years (we hope)
- Whole Foods is *close* to signing to be the groundfloor anchor on the broadway corner across from phase 1.
- the building will be made of structural steel rather than RC (i am doubting the sales person on this one....)
- the narrow tower in the future phase WILL be shorter than what is shown....

other than that, see below! labels added to avoid the ridiculous back and forth of what street where and what angles?

Holy crap! That's awesome! Is there some sort of time frame for the other phases yet? Or is that to be determined later?

Hot DAMN! Do we know if the rest of the development (minus ground floor retail of course) is going to be all residential? Some commercial?

Nice photos. I'm co-hosting a party Sept 21st for the Blake 27 Groundbreaking. You guys should come! I'll post the details. So far it's free food, free drinks and latin band. A great way to celebrate a groundbreaking.
