Thanks for the updates. That park strip looks great. Boise and developers actually do a good job at landscaping street side strips with grass and of course trees.

one of my favorite autumn drives is from Boise to Idaho City. when we have more time, we do the loop up to Lowman, then west through Wildlife Canyon to Banks, and back south to Boise.

when i have people visiting who think Idaho is a big potato farm, i take them on that trip.

That is a beautiful drive and a great way to experience the alpine scenery in the Boise Metro and it so close to the valley. Crouch and Garden Valley could be considered a mountain suburb because of proximity.
