Forget the blemish tool. We need the clone tool -- copy and paste this building into 10 more spots in Winnipeg!

This is beautiful! I agree to sentiments posted before, we need more of this in downtown... and Osborne.

It really is a beautiful building and was constructed quickly. One must also remember the land was free and very little parking required. I’d love to see this building in the Exchange and / or Waterfront North. The development team and church really got it right.

How large was this site’s footprint? I’m weakening on actually building out a parking lot!

The building footprint is about 8500 sf. The site is about 12,000 sf which includes half of the greenspace between the church and building.

If you need an architect. I happen to know one. He could give you a tour.

Thank you perhaps next time I’m in the City although a tour of the new Richardson Research Facility would be inspirational.

The other thing I’m very pleased and impressed with is it’s not black! This gives the structure a chance to remain current and timeless in a generation. I fear black buildings (for the most part) will be viewed as “Trizec CaCa Brown” quite shortly. Or to put it a little more politely for those with a sensitive colour pallet... “Sea Foam Green”.

sounds good.

I agree with you about black buildings. it's too much already. Black will be very 2020 in ten years.

You should give lectures on this to the developers and architects behind most of the recent East Exchange and Osborne Village buildings.

Never realized how vast and desolate that Great West Parking lot is. Love the building and agree about the color scheme. I generally like black buildings but understand the concern some of you have about its aesthetic longevity.
Aside: rather like the GWL building (the one on osborne with the columns)

Congratulations to the West Broadway Commons team for getting interim occupancy. The first residents of this mixed-use building move in next week!

That duct work should be encased somehow. Otherwise that is a fantastic looking building.

Ugh! Just noticed OTA"s comment while I edited.

All joking aside, well done TV!
