Wow is that second photo of the Paris Building? The detail is stunning.

A few shots of the famously fashionable Gander International Airport from Bloomberg Pursuits Magazine.

Quote:
There have been many famous people, such as Winston Churchill, Fidel Castro, The Beatles, Frank Sinatra, Elizabeth Taylor and Jackie O, who have sat in the Herman Miller couches, walked the Italian Terrazzo flooring, or placed their derrieres in the space-age Charles and Ray Eames chairs that one can find in the ladies’ washroom.

And now, GIA has forayed into the world of high fashion, having been the photo set for the fall edition of Bloomberg Pursuits. The quarterly publication, a subsidiary of financial powerhouse Bloomberg, touts itself as “the first and only global luxury magazine edited for the world’s richest people.”

What gorgeous views of Gander Airport... I'm impressed by how it appears to have kept its classic midcentury modern good looks.

Looks like a lovely day in St. John's. Foggy days are awesome.

I would normally agree... but it's chilly, and also raining. Lots of breaks in the rain, though.

Quidi Vidi Village (Kwye-da Vye-da, if you're local; Kiddie Viddie if you're from anywhere else in St. John's), October 6, 2013.

Thought this was a nice aerial photo of Halifax. Too bad it is so small.

It was part of a post about the history of the Commons, the open green space in the foreground. This land was granted to the public by King George III in 1763, so it's the park's 250th anniversary:
