The last projects that I can recall are the following in no specific order

First one was the Federal Building on Bay Street it had two Red Tower Cranes.

Next would be the St Joes Man Campus building on the Northwest corner of the site. I remember it because the strung Christmas lights on it

Also the Good Sheppard Centre on King West had two cranes.

Finally if you are counting all of the Vancor development as one there was a crane for the Homewood suites at the same time as 150 Main Street West. Its atleast on the same block and they are joined together.

No photos for proof, but didn't the St Joe's mental health complex W5/Fennell have at least 4 on the site of that mammoth development.

I hope Hamilton doesn't pull a Vancouver, will awash of almost identical looking buildings and materials. Van has too many green glass, similar standard-issue, condos all built within 15 years and sold to Chinese investors.

I think Chromamut had a similar concern, this is going to be a very insular cluster and I just can't feel very excited about how it's going to interact with the rest of downtown, even if it's second tallest for a while. I get that you can only build on what you own but the fact this isn't fronting King is really irritating, (whatever the material and colour ends up being not withstanding)/whinging

indeed - it just sorta feels out of the way - without anything real to tie it to the downtown, it's like this area has been designated to "big generic apartmenty and condoey buildings and hotels" which is ok I guess.. I just don't see businesses flocking to fill in the bottom of this building.

Vranich had a rep for sitting on properties, but when he moves forward on them, he moves.

Would soon like to see something happening re: his proposal for the NW corner of King and Queen.

I've seen updated materials diagram as of July 2017.
It's looking very sleek. Nice silver window walls, silver balcony glass. Some reflective clear glass elements and some minimal darker glass accents.
Also, some sort of tree trunk outline artistic element on the mechanical penthouse that is backlit.

Fingers crossed.
