Getting close to ground level. As the dividing wall has risen between this project and the Charleson I see that they've actually cantilevered a platform over the Charlseson site to work on the wall (last two pics).

We finally know how they're going to treat the blank, east-facing wall on this one. Nighttime will be okay I think, but during the day it could be an eyesore.

I noticed these pics of the light art on Wall's open house boards for Nelson on the Park.

Perhaps a bit off-thread, but I did see it here: I'm rather surprised that the city is going to turn Haro Street into a bike path. I thought of it as a good connector, but then, I have no soul.

Thanks!
So the yellow balcony glass is gone (or just not recognizable in a nighttime shot?)

I would be soo happy if the yellow / gold glass goes away... the light wall could be cool though in my opinion...

Here's a few of my pics from the last year or so to show progress... almost at grade now!!

Very nice indeed. I am constantly surprised how much ahead this project is from The Charleson. And they are the ones having two cranes onsite!

Great set, I look forward to the continuation.

I almost forgot how ugly those old buildings were. Wow.

And on Richards Street, no less!

Love that last photo set by Byron! Would be awesome if you continue taking them as this one rises, its a great vantage point.

The old ambulance site is now paved and painted for parking. That was quick.

New ground level parking in the downtown core... who would have guessed?
