Please update us on this building; when you have the time. I love Duke Energy Center. I think the handle will reach completion by the end of this month? The Charlotte Observer has a video of the lighting. They can change the lighting for Panthers games (Please find an experienced and proven replacement for Jake at QB!).

Unfortunately, I think you're right Brian. With news Bank of America's headquarters "could" leave with a CEO change and Charlotte "could" become a no bank town, I'm starting to doubt we will see another condo tower in Uptown.

Thank you for the updates. I'm guessing the "D" logo will appear on the handle next year? It should be interesting to see how it is lit. I would like to see a logo with changing colors to match the building.

Please take photos of the three new buildings under construction (Duke Energy, Vue and BofA) in the skyline, when you can find the time.

i can't really see it.....i've envisioned the building clean and without logo since the first rendering came out.

i'm looking forward to seeing the color/lighting scheme live.

I saw a good rendering of this building a few months ago, with a Duke Energy logo on the handle. It didn't look bad. I'm guessing from the rendering they are thinking about adding their logo to the handle? I've also seen renderings of the handle lit. If the logo is in their plans, it should be interesting to see how this is lit. I'm guessing the lights are pointing at the handle and would shine on the logo. A model of the building with lights is needed to see the shadows and how lights shining on it would impact it.

The Vue reached its highest point before the workers abandoned the site. This is why the second crane was taken down. All work should focus on interiors and the last few floors of windows. What we see is the height of the finished tower.

I would say more like the Shanghai Financial Center due to the "handle".

Both the Westin and Duke Energy Center look great together. Thank you for the update. They have 12 days, from the time the photo was taken, to finish the handle. Someone told me the exterior cladding on the handle will reach completion by the end of this month. I'm surprised no one is comparing One Bank of America Center to Wells Fargo Plaza, built in 1983, in Houston. It's a closer match than the one above.

Is it just me or dose one side seem to slant farther down than the other? Ive always noticed that and it really bugs me. lol You can really tell in this pic tho!!

^^^That's the only thing I don't like about this building, I don't see why they couldn't have made both slants at the same angle, but I still love this building
