Finally and update! Wow its been slow around here, where is everybody?

Anyways, 1 Stuanton Square has always been one of my favorite buildings. 1 Staunton Square is like 1 and 2 Times Square, a tall centerpiece building covered with tall billboards.

The Building was added around June 15th when Stuanton Square was forming, with buildings like the JC Summit and N Hotels building. You can see it on the bottom of this picture

Stuanton Square, still under development, 1 Staunton Square was redone and became the way it was. The Billboards freatured JC Summit, Staunton Airlines, The Exodus: The Movie, John Harrington Fashion, and Stuanton Vision

There was also a large portion to the left side of the building with two huge Bentswell International as seen in this picture. As you can see the 21st Century Tower isnt textured yet and there is no Callahan Park.

The City really developed after Staunton Square.

For a few days now I've been wanting to change the billboards for this tower (of example The Exodus came out July 12th), I eventually redid the whole tower, but in real life it just got a renovation. The Older billboards are on the sides of the building now.

The New Billboards are larger. They are Galviston Enterprises, Olympus International, Abicruble & Flintch and Panoramic

If you havent noriced are based on: Olympus America, Ambocrombie & Fintch, and Panosonic, which has SNN (Staunton News Network) on it based on CNN.

Look its the Galviston Enterprises World HQ

I love this one

and this one

Whats up with that fire anyways?

I finally got a new computer, my old one was Really slow, I couldnt move around Staunton without everything becomeing wireframe. The Graphics Card was also dated (2002) My new computer is great, Stuanton runs amazingly faster, I can move around with the textures staying in place

This makes construction a lot easier. I've already added some new things like:

North Stuanton Square
There has always been a North Stuanton Square, but it wasnt much really. Remember there was that funky Museum and a small pond? I removed the park and moved the Museum to McAurthur Hill.

In This Picture the Museum's site has a new tall hotel, The Milton Staunton Square Hotel, (yes Milton/Hilton) Also Five Staunton Square (center) was recladded and has more billboards, the big black building (top) I just pasted a bill billboard on the top of the tower And 1 Staunton Square now has a second face, with all the original billboards

In this picture, The Staunton Financial Center now has huge billboards on the bottom of the tower, Olympus International has now leased 53% of the building.

Close up of the new side of 1 Staunton Square.

McArthur Hill

Shot of the new spot for the museum, it now has a nice plaza.

Also this has been here for a while, I just havent shown any pictures of McArthur Hill.

And a Skyline Shot.

Expect more updates soon!

That happens to me, simply because Sun City is so big.

Great job, nice pics!

Here too. When I only have SketchUp running and not Photoshop and Explorer, which is not the case when I'm building, I can move around City City with the textures going coloured, but not losing them to wireframe. wireframe happens when a bunch of stuff is running.

Staunton Inner City Tunnel Opens after 10 years
Back on February 17th 1996, the Staunton Inner City Tunnel collapsed around 2am destroying abandoned older buildings over the tunnel. Luckily there was no one under the collapse zone, nearby cars crashed, 10 where injured. It took 10 years to reopen the tunnel, but many still think it is unsafe.

Ok What happened was I replaced that freeway starting after the bridge, it looked too tall and was to large. I replaced the freeway with a better looking tunnel, this makes building some midrise buildings over the tunnel.

Some Shots

It is seen here on the left

Pat, your city still blows me away. Absolutely.

Some ideas of what you can do now.
1. Animate your city, throw in some model cars or something. People too (does anyone else notice that the person they originally throw in is 3m tall?). Oh, how about street cars or cruise liners?

2. Maybe go ahead some years? You know, this is how the city is now in 2015... Start throwing in some near-future tech?

This picture makes me want to cry. It's just so beautiful.

Top notch work. So long as the computer can still handle it, I'd start moving out of the CBD and on surrounding entertainment, lofts, or arts districts.

I'd love to do that, I started before too, by adding streetlights, but after a while the city becomes extremply slow.

Naw, the City would defantly stay in 2006, and will just take place in the present. By 2015, I bet Staunton would be in ruins, who knows.....

I'm already in a lofts/arts district, Atlantic Park, if you see the skyline shot, the buildings are getting lower and lower to the left.

I did do a photoshopped nightime picture a while ago, here it is

I didnt do another one after because I only got 2 responses.

Here is a new one from the top floors of the Staunton Exeutive Plaza (DEF Building)

I appreciate the responses and ideas, thanks

New Building:Harriott Marquess - Staunton Square
Based on the Marriott Marquis Times Square, except less, umm ugly The building replaced the Cosmopolitan Records Tower, (which now never existed in the Staunton Universe)

Next door, was the Staunton VISION Plaza, now an emply lot for The New Cosmopolitan Records Tower I dont have any idea what it will look like yet though. Staunton VISTION Plaza was moved to Torrington:

I think I'll do some more Emporis Pages, here is a list of the possible buildings, tell me and I will do an Emporis page
