Apparently this site has been sold by Greg Kerfoot to Nat Bosa.

I'm not sure if this would have any impact on the existing design...

For an outrageous sum of money too. Will be very interesting to see how Bosa proceeds with this one, given the huge land cost paid.

I'd heard that Bosa was trying to increase the floorplate size, but that was already going to be a hard goal to meaningfully achieve.

Not at all surprised. Will be interesting to see what Bosa does, as far as I know they've never done commercial on this scale before, wouldn't be surprised if they don't make an attempt to get some residential into a new proposal although the city has been pretty adamant on commercial only for that area.

Did Nat Bosa build the VanCity building at Main Street Station?

Heard this design is getting a substantial "tweak" design wise.

Please god let this be one of the Norman Foster projects in the works.

It was Bosa that ended up taking over Jameson House, so hopefully more than an empty dream

Unfortunately, it still has a view cone over the site.

And I'm hearing another/different rumour from more than one source, also.

Hmm different rumour? Interesting. Different than a new design?

This is not going to be one of the Foster buildings though.

320 Granville is now on the Development Permit Board agenda for April 3, 2017.

The previously approved application was for a 32 (or 31?) storey tower whereas this is for 30 storeys
- could be the bigger floorplates s211 mentioned.
Since it must stay under the same viewcone, the reduced number of floors could mean a more interesting roof if they go to the same height.

Thank goodness we have those view cones to project us! Either way I am excited to see what this new design looks like, and i hope the tower remains at 119 meters.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the reduced floor count is the result of reduced height, since the originally proposed height technically crossed the city-imposed viewcone limit and the city forced a reduction. This apparently happened at least a couple of years ago.

The plan approved in 2014 is either 31 or 32 storeys.
Diagrams seem to show 31, whereas description webpage says 32.
They seemed to have allowed the elevator mechanical penthouse to poke into the view cone.
This new application says 30.

I do not think the height needs to be revised since the project was approved by council and staff, which includes any height or protrusions into the view cones.
