Around here Micky-Dees is offering free small coffees this week to compete with the Timmie's contest.

Is this happening elsewhere?

This morning I bought a coffee and a donut, handed the cashier a $20, and received $27 in change (the cashier gave me 2 tens and a five instead of 3 fives).

But I didn't win anything off my coffee.

I am 2 for 4 now.

Same in Kingston. Here, they are not only offering the free small coffee, but the other sizes are deeply discounted. I got a medium coffee today for about 30 cents.

I love how in French it's "oral sex" which could go either way, but in English it's just "blow job", which is pretty specific.

I haven't been to Tim Horton's in a year or two, but I have won with Lotto Max three weeks in a row! They just keep giving me a free ticket and I keep winning.

3/2

You read that right. Fist purchase won a doughnut, second purchase won a coffee and that coffee won a coffee.

I won $24 so far by not buying Tim Hortons coffee every day in an attempt to win a $2 coffee!

I bet by the end of this contest I'll win over a hundred more dollars!!

Still shut out at 0/8. Boo. Seems like it's making up for my 8/8 start last year...

It seems like every year I got to the Tims for this content I never won anything. Am I the only one?

Not going to lie though the coffee at Tims has become boring and plain tastless, does any one else agree?

McDonalds coffee is just better in every way. For example small coffees where free. That's better than buying a cup of coffee and never winning anything hah.

mcdonalds was offering free small coffee here and you could upgrade sizes for about 25-40 cents

7-11 was also offering a free coffee here

i think both promotions ended march 3

It's discount coffe. It won't be the most premium stuff.

Even though I'm not a coffee drinker I agree that McDonalds coffee is underrated and better though. Oh well.

Also mini rant here.. but what's the deal with charging more for different sizes of tea??

You pay for the bag. The rest is just water. If you have a small vs. a large and they still use just 1 bag then you're essentially paying that much more for a bigger cup. It makes no sense.
