See s like the Roots store outside of the mall is going to be moving into the Mallon according to a notice posted on their front entrance. I wonder if the the other two remains stores in the exterior block will follow suit?

I’m not sure about the other pad stores on the lot, but Roots will be moving into the old Lululemon spot beside Sephora. I can’t remember if the graphic on the wall said August or Fall 2022.

According to Avalon Mall Facebook page a Carter's Oshkosh is moving into space across from the new Lululemon, next to Levi's in time for holiday shopping.

Freshly Squeezed Juice/Bubble Tea opening soon in former David's Tea/Tea Kettle space.

My understanding was that the mall planned on building a hotel on the site with a link to the mall. It would be a great spot for a hotel if you ask me, as the Metrobus hub is nearby for out-of-towners wanting quick access to the Health Science or anywhere else.

Looks like Hakim Optical is getting closer to finally opening in the mall. They have the construction walls gone now and stock on the shelves. No signage up yet as of today.

Elsewhere in the mall, children’s clothing store Carters/Oshcosh are coming to the mall too. Not sure if they are remaining open in the east end or opening a second location.

Saw signage up with past weekend for Warehouse One Jeans in new section of Avalon mall close to Sketchers. Not sure if this will be second store as they are open in the Village Mall also.

The one in the Village Mall is closing and moving to the Avalon Mall
