I never would have thought Vancouver use to have squater camps.

^Doesn't look too vintage to me.

It's amazing in terms of height, how little Vancouver's skyline has changed in over a third of century from that first picture. It wasn't until Shangri-La got built that things finally started to change.

Th Shangri-la makes all the difference. vancouver's skyline would be 'average' without it.

those three towers that look the same left of centre - one of them was demolished several years ago and the other two, which were a hotel, are now being converted to residential
