So when a theft occurs, people should not call the cops? Let's wait and see if these kids committed an armed robbery shall we? That's not clear just yet. Or perhaps some of the kids assaulted some of the staff and customers in the store while they attempted to steal liquor....they did threaten harm to the staff. That would warrant a call to the police, don't you think?
Or perhaps in the heat of the moment, the staff member(s) who called the police should have stopped and said to themselves, "hmmm, we allow capitalist pigs to steal billions from us so this theft of alcohol and threat of physical violence is a rather trivial matter...nah, I won't bother calling the cops."
