People are crying over the death of chef Paul Bocuse here, Lyon being the so-called capital of cuisine.
Much rivaled by the Toulouse region (Occitanie) and a bunch of 'terroir' towns in France, though.
Bocuse was like 91 years old, and people have to die at some point. Lyon should move on this whole gastronomy shit...
You just end up bloated, eventually.

Anyway, here's some latest office building around la Part Dieu over there, by villeman.



Bof. They could afford much taller buildings. The pharmaceutical/healthcare, software and gaming industries are pretty strong over there.
And this is traditionally a town full of innovations. For example, they invented motion pictures and cinema.
They're making billions of euros. So I'd like to see more skyscrapers.
