They will be officially above Wacker this week as they poured the West core floor that brings them level with Wacker. They should be jumping the core forms in the next day or two and starting work on the core for the first above-Wacker floor.

Oh no... this project might accidentally make some of us interact in real life...

I visit this site multiple times a day... on the way to work, during lunch and leaving work for the day. I'm confident I've seen some of you urban spies crawling around the area.

, this thing is flying! After the the next floor is poured and the core jumps, the core should be fully above Upper Wacker. Can't wait till we get to start looking up, instead of down!

Any engineers in the building....whats the chance that gems starts during vista's construction? Is it plausible with the amount of cement trucks on lower wacker? I know i keep on bringing it up but just seems like it would be a really cool thing to see.

Vista glass test

First time posting, been admiring all the photos and great info for a while. Took a stroll through Lakeshore East today and got pretty close to the glass test. More and more excited for Vista every day. I'm a river tour guide so as things progress I might have more to share. Cheers!

You have the rotation backwards. The tallest section will be the Western-most one, where the main core is. The second tallest section will be over the road, and the third tallest where the smaller core is.

I looked on the Studio Gang website and my orientation is backwards, but the little avatar at the top of the page appears backwards (I think) with the tallest portion being closer to the lake.

^It is a very early rendering. Almost as early as the napkin sketch! Shortly after this, the building design did a 180. Hey mods, can the avatar be changed so as to not confuse future forumers?

ditto - someone who has the ability to get that picture/avatar changed, please do so asap, the new renderings are 1000x better and as it has been noted, has the correct layout of the towers!
