How many of us are native Calgarians?

Just a poll for the fun of it. I rarely find people who are born and raised here. Just curious who of us Calgary forumers are from Calgary, and if not where are you from?

I wasn't born and raised here, but my dad was and my mom was born and raised in High River, so I'm almost a native but I voted no.
I was born in India and raised in Shawinigan QC and Montreal. I could live anywhere but I choose here (most of the time!) so thanks native Calgarians for sharing your great city with us immigrants!

South east Edmonton born and raised
In the playground is where I spent most of my days
Hang out at home, playing video games
Taking Engineering and acting all lame
Then I got a job and it paid all good
But it was in another neighbourhood
I thought moving to Calgary was right
So I became the Prince of the Crescent Heights.

Born, raised, and I have never lived anywhere else. My wife and I both are, strangely enough. We're both first-generation Canadians with European immigrant parents.

My mom's family has been in Turner Valley for about a century, my dad didn't move here until the 60s. I was born in Calgary, raised in the Valley.

Not a native Calgarian. Dad is Irish, mom was born/raised in BC, and I was born in Dublin - though I lived in Calgary from the time I was 3 until I was 26 (when I moved to Shanghai).

Both my wife and I are born and raised Calgarians.

Edit: Just like Corporatewhore, I too can say I've lived in all 4 quadrants. Only 3 for my wife.

Native Albertan, born and raised in the City of Champions. Have now lived in Calgary for longer than I lived in Edmonton. Funny thing, a friend commented about some communities in Edmonton the other day, and whilst the names were familiar, I could not remember where they were situated. It was kind of an odd feeling. Probably the onset of dementia.

I was like that about Calgary when I lived in Calgary. There are just way too many of them, it's hard to keep up.

Not a native Calgarian.

I was born in Edmonton and moved to Calgary when I was six and a half years old (July, 1994).

Currently living in Nova Scotia, but I'll be back in Calgary in July. Staying with my parents until I have secured employment and know where I'm going (I'd like to end up staying in Calgary and moving closer to downtown).

Born at the Holy Cross Hospital and lived in Calgary for 6 months until I was adopted and then moved to Olds, Alberta till I finished high school. Took college and university studies in Camrose and Lethbridge, then moved to Japan for a number of years. Finally full circle, I'm back in the Calgary area (Airdrie).
