again... any confirmation on the material, or is this just random speculation? I really think it's a bad rendering of glass railings.

^ You're right. I never noticed that ... not something I typically see first.

Perhaps they think this is for privacy of the unit owner??????? Even so, you can use reflective glass instead!

In any case, would (partial) glass balconies not be cheaper to use anyways? I'm not a builder, but I would assume that they are easier to install, easier to maintain... no cracking or painting to worry about, no rust marks from metal objects..

If they plan to sell these at $400,000+ - I would only hope that that gets changed! But I sure ain't going to buy into it, so whatever.

^depends on the products, but typically glass is much faster and easier.

[QUOTE=whyteknight;2892246]With curtain wall all the way down:

I don't mind the tower I guess - I just don't like the way it's right up against Edmonton House.
It's like no net benefit to the skyline.

Do you think that might be why the curtain wall doesn't go very far down on the new tower? Developer thinks eventually the bottom 2 thirds will be covered by another tower?

You're right. They could have made townhouses on the south and east sides of this building... I see the light!

Looks much better with color. It still looks alot like Vetro, but the colors are much better.
