I've been down here in Sn Diego county for a few months... don't know the origin of the name though.

I was suprised to learn that CHICAGO means "animal urinating" or "little skunk"... both of which supposedly reference the smell associated with all the garlic that grows in the area.

City fathers are of course trying to entrench a translation like "wild onion" but scholars scoff.

Next time a Chi-town forumer insults you...... you know how to reply:

"Dude, you are just a little pisser in a herd of urinating animals".

thank you …SD is the 4th safest city in the country…although homicides rose 33% last year…violent crimes decreased however…in news…hmmm…now-a-days its about the 70 something year old water pipes and how a lot of them are breaking all over the city…and our lack of rainfall and record heat (today…ugh it was gross)…last week the police found body parts of a transient scattered around the 163 and the 5 and in a creek…they found the guy who did it though

and finally one more picture, just to stay on topic ive got more coming…be patient please

I went surfing 19 times in February. I went golfing more than 10 times. I dont remember ever putting on a sweater. I wore my flip-flops just about everyday that month. I slept with my windows open...
If that's "boring", then I don't want "fun".
