Those GB shots show why navigation charts or GPS is so important there. There are shoals everywhere and some sit just inches below the surface. It's peaks and valleys all over. One second you're in 65 feet of water and the next you're in 2 feet of water. My BIL broke off his prop in the Waubashene area of GB and the rock formations there are pretty spread out. Nothing like in those pics.
My neighbour went on a dude's weekend trip last week, golfing around Barrie first then staying in an island cottage in Honey Harbour. They went fishing too.
Not sure if it's the same area as in the photos you posted, but the area is called 30,000 islands for a reason. GB is often called the sixth Great Lake if one separates it from Lake Huron.
