I like the FUA metric because it gives Moncton an extra 50,000 people, and pushes us up to #20 in the national rankings!!

given an FUA of 240,000 last year, as of now, given our growth rate, Moncton is probably over a quarter million!!!

As a Hamiltonian, I feel so loved.

City economists estimated the population of the Winnipeg CMA — the city plus Rosser, West St. Paul, East St. Paul, St. Clements, Brokenhead First Nation, Springfield, Tache, Niverville, Ritchot, Macdonald, Headingley and St. Francois-Xavier — at about 936,500 on July 1, 2024.

Just to rekindle this conversation.

If Winnipeg has a July 1 number, I'd imagine QC does as well.

We're doomed.

According to my own estimates, Quebec City CMA should be around 906 000 right now.
