I mean yeah, a lot more will eventually be built, but it takes forever. Nothing drastically different will be built to really change the skyline for at least like 3 years right?

Just go back 10 years and look at the skyline and all of the changes that have happened since. Even the old 270 Park was still standing. Even just 5 years ago, we didn’t even have Vandy. A lot can chang in what I call a relatively short amount of time. But I’ve been around long enough to get excited when we got something close to approaching 900 ft, none of this supertall madness. It all seems normal now, but it really isn’t. Just keep living, you’ll see a lot.

hmm, interesting — i thought this tower was rather striking and dazzling every time i have see it during construction, but here finally it looks like its settling into its job as a classic and stately office tower.

I'm finishing the 3D model for a new video, and you have no idea how grateful I am for the images of the base, especially for material reference. By the way, in the initial project, if I remember correctly, there were plans for two large canopies at the entrances on Park and Madison Avenue. Do you know if they're still included in the project? Because looking at the current structure, it doesn't seem like they're going to build them, although I might be wrong.

Looking forward to it. These are some renderings from Park Ave…

I wish they would show more of the Madison Avenue side. I can’t wait to see the waterfalls. I’m curious if the flow will be like Paley Park and Greenacre Park or like the limp drizzle of the fountain behind 550 Madison.

Yeah, the canopies match the latest renderings I've seen. Though if I remember correctly, they were a bit bigger in the initial plans. But hey, if the project is going this way, I'll go with it. And talk about the building itself—it's amazing! It's been ages since we've seen a project of this scale. Thanks, NYguy! As soon as I have the finished model and/or some videos (I think there will be a few, including one by request with the skyline featuring the Twin Towers of the WTC), I'll post them here.
