Man does U of W know how to develop. Took and empty block and turned it into one of most dense blocks in town.

Perhaps we need to get The U of W to build in other adjacent parts of downtown. They always seem to get the job done with little apparent struggles, appealing to many segments of society & visually decent projects. Kudos to them.

I believe that UWCRC is partnering with the First Nation that bought the Reubin Block on Osborne - that's good news.

Looks like Bockstael is the builder, from what I can make of the sign in the photo. They're really good.

I really want to see them hook up the empty lot at the corner of Ellice and Colony.

There's a reason lots of trades and contractors come from Steinbach...

That is a great article. I would put Bockstael in the top 3 contractors in the Province right now.

1. PCL
...gap
2. Bockstael
3. Penn-Co

Then there are a grouping of very good mid-to large sized contractors...

Concord, Akman, Gateway, M-Builds, Precon (Primarily builds Shindico) Graham, Bird, Ledcor (the last 3 are large nationally)

PCL runs a very good ground operation MOSTLY. They are more difficult to work with on site I have found than Bockstael, in terms of scheduling and communications to subtrades.
