Perhaps this helps provide some insurance for the other residential towers that have been planned in the northern part of West Loop/River West? Hopefully shores up the momentum for the greater area.
And hats off to the obstructing municipal water pipes underneath the Freedom Center which forced the changes.

Interesting interpretation of the rebuilt Chicago Ave. bridge.

I was rather of the opposite impression. Haha.

I thought the project had a very high likelihood of going forward through some corporate chicanery. Mostly because non-gaming revenue makes up such a high percentage of casino profits nowadays, and a 24/7 dining, drinking, lodging and entertainment venue direct on the Chicago River would have strong fundamentals.

I did have doubts about Medinah Temple from the start so I hadn’t considered it much in my predictions.

Wow.... I'm damn surprised by this news, but super happy to see this moving forward. Overall design hasn't bee super compromised. I do wish there was a little more water activation on the river, but that can always come in later if desired.

Will the hotel be operated by Bally's themselves, or will that include some kind of partnership with an additional player?
