The view from Downtown doesn't make it look that separated, unlike from other areas. The K&L Gates rumors makes me wish another tower could be built nearby, despite the Strip being a better possibility.

Penguins, developer land a 3rd tenant for new office tower at former Civic Arena site

"FNB will be moving its headquarters from the North Shore to the building and will serve as the anchor tenant. The bank has committed to taking about half of the 400,000 square feet of office space available. It will occupy the building’s three top floors as well as floors eight through 15."

"The building is scheduled to be completed by early summer...Mr. Buccini has said the new building is one of three his firm and the hockey team are planning on blocks D and F, with one possibly starting construction in the next 12 to 24 months. But he has stressed that he won’t start building unless he has a tenant signed up to anchor a new building."

Just came across this article, and it seems a bit ridiculous. But I don’t really know what’s going on in Pittsburgh.

Yeah, it's ridicuous. This is sensationalist hyperbole by what has become a complete rag of a newspaper.

They're just trying to get reaction and the attention of the powers that be.

^ I have seen at least three different designs, and the floor count increased from the original 24 to 26. BTW, the thread title still says 24 floors -- would someone please update it to 26?

pj3000's opening post in this thread has the earliest rendering. It was shorter and much skinnier.
